HELLO ALL!!
TOMORROW IS THE DAY YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!! I dunno how excited you guys are, but we are definitely all hyped up!!
We sent out an email a couple of days ago but seems like you guys watch this space more frequent than you check your emails - we're thankful for that nevertheless :)) Some details for Saturday...
Registration starts from 8.00am @ Tanjong Beach!! Do come on time so that you'll have time to warm up & change into our most AWESOME Beach Fiesta jerseys. Of course, if you guys wanna play in your own team jerseys, you're most welcome to do so :)
Events will be in round robin format for the preliminaries. For most events, group stages will be done by the early afternoon after which you'll have some time to grab a bite or something. If possible, we may arrange for some vendors to set up shop selling some finger food, e.g. burgers, but we would recommend that teams stock some food - you might not even want to eat a lot in the midst of your competition.
Please bring your INDEMNITY FORMS for teams who have yet to submit theirs. They're just a little paperwork to make things a lot easier for all of us :) Forms are available HERE, do note that everyone needs to submit the forms, no matter how old are you! :)
There will be a 5-min walkover rule - teams that are late by more than 5mins for their scheduled games (based on the Standardised timing set by the Organising Comm) will automatically be subjected to a walkover, no negotiation whatsoever. It's only fair to the teams who are on time :)
Do note the team gender ratio and the no. of participants in your team. If teams are unable to meet the gender ratio or the min no. to play the game, they'll automatically be disqualified.
Do check out the game rules and other details. If you know the rules well, you'll definitely play better :)

To make registration easier for all of you guys, we will be setting up shop in NUS FASS along AS1/AS6 walkway from 10am to 4pm daily, from today onwards :)) So, grab this chance to register your teams ASAP before the events are filled. Remember, registration is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, so hurry!!

Wow! A new announcement by the organising committee has just been sent: Besides Dodgeball as a new event this year, you lucky folks can expect Tchoukball too! Well, you might be wondering what Tchoukball is exactly. Developed by a Swiss scientist in the 1970's studying sports injuries, Tchoukball was his answer to reducing said injuries to near zero: by removing body contact as much as possible! Watch this space! Things are really heating up as we gear up for NUS Beach Fiesta 2010! The date is set for 27 March, and this year, we're introducing an all-new sports event: Dodgeball!
That's right! The exciting sport as popularised by Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller is making a roaring debut at this year's Beach Fiesta! This brings the total number of sports up for registration to 6.
